Knox in August

Oh so relaxed....

Mommy and Daddy finally went on their first date. Even though it was a stormy day, it was still nice to get out just the two of us. We went to a funny movie, and then went to Best Buy to shop for a fun DVD for Drew. We hope he'll like Peter Pan...

Drew is so sweet to Knox. He loves to hold his hand....

He weighed in at 14.45 pounds. Can you say 95th percentile??

Drew in August

We have done a lot of fun things in August and wanted to share some of them with you.

Drew was invited to a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. He carried the invitation around for a week he was so excited (even though he'd never been there before). He had a great time!


Because of the awful weather we had one weekend, we had a "movie afternoon" with Drew. He laid on our super fuzzy blanket and ate popcorn!

Drew finally got the hang of the sit and spin. He got it for his 2nd b-day and he could not figure it out. One day when I was doing chores he went and got it and started spinning like crazy...

Poor Drew

My parents came to stay with Drew while we were in the hospital. One day when he came to visit he had on these really tight shorts that I didn't recognize. After he was there for about 5 minutes a light bulb went off in my head. I remembered that I had washed an old pair of Drew's pants with a load of his laundry. Andy put them away in his drawer, and when my parents let him pick out his outfit he chose these pants. I explained to my mom that the 3M in the tag meant 3 months, not 3 years like she thought. I still don't know how they squeezed him into pants meant for a 3 month old!

Can you believe how big I was?? This is the morning we headed to the hospital for my C-section, June 23rd.
