Gymnastics Week #2

High Bar. I could tell Drew was like "hurry and take the picture!" Trampoline which Drew loves!

Drew stretching out. They use a doggie bone for this. You can see Knox in the background having a blast! And Drew's friend Sara is next to him.

All of the 2 year olds put their hands in and say "Let's go play!" It's so cute.

Drew and Knox miss Mimi and Papa already...

My parents came to visit this weekend and Saturday we spent the day at Wakulla Springs. It was beautiful weather and we all (minus Andy who was out of town for the day) had a wonderful time!

Mimi and Drew in the water. It was really cold, but no one seemed to mind.

Papa and Drew making his wagon sink.
Drew was sharing his toys with another boy.
Mommy and her boys on our picnic by the water.
Mimi, Papa, and Drew on our boat ride. We saw tons of alligators, birds, turtles, a snake, and 2 manatee. Drew liked the boat when the engine was off, but thought it was very loud most of the trip.
Mommy and Knox on boat.
Drew getting tired. Our 30-45 minute boat ride was about an hour and 15 minutes.
Drew was testing out the water. By the way, Drew insists on wearing sunglasses if the sun is out. We always have to bring them on our walk and as soon as the sun is in his eyes he asks for them. When the suns gone he'll take them off and give them to me.

3 Month Pictures

Knox and I were headed to get his 3 month pictures taken. If you want to check them out go to www.photosbystephanie.com Go to client proofs and use "Knox" as the password. They are only up for 2 weeks, so they won't be up past Oct. 13th. Enjoy!

A is for Alligator...(GO GATORS!)

This week's class consisted of alligators and frogs. We even had an alligator presentation. Our little scientist

Drew looking at the alligator. He thought it was so neat.

Knox hanging out with us. We stayed and ordered lunch. Here's Drew reading the menu deciding what he wants. :)

Big Boy Bed!

When our friends came into town Drew slept on an air mattress in our room and did so well we thought it was time for the big boy bed. I'd been putting it off, because with a newborn I didn't want to deal with any sleep issues. We told Drew he can't get out of bed without calling us. He's done great. I think it helped that we waited until he was ready, and it made for a very smooth transition. Every day he says he is excited to get into his big boy bed. I love getting to lay with him to read his books before nap time.

Good morning sunshine...(this was his first morning waking up in his bed)

The Ritchies come to town...

Our good friends from St. Pete came into town this past weekend. We had so much fun together! There were 4 adults and 5 kids staying at our house and it worked out great! The kids loved playing together, and all weekend Drew asked about his "friends." They left at lunch Sunday to head home and when Drew woke up from his nap he asked where his "friends" were.

Here's Syd, Chris, Noah (in front pack), Luke (stroller), and Kayden

Knox (3 months), Drew (2), Luke (2), Kayden (3), and Noah (one week younger than Knox)

If you look closely you can see that Drew and Kayden have a hard time smiling naturally. Luke was awesome at smiling!

Mommies and Babies

BACKYARD FUN

Luke driving the car. Another great smile!

I'm not sure how, but the kids got a great idea for how to use the branches most effectivley. And when I say kids, I mean Kayden and Drew.

Hit the Beagle (AKA Rex) with them.

It's hard to sit on a swing when no one is pushing you.

Drew sliding...

Luke about to slide....

Never mind...

Do I have to?

Jr. Museum

On Saturday morning we headed to the Jr. Museum to see all of the animals.

Here's our lunch break.

Daddy and Drew watching Otters.

Otters

Drew found the huge alligator. If you enlarge this picture you can probably see it to the left of your screen.

We had a great time with the Ritchies, and can't wait to see them again. We wish you guys were closer!! Thanks for a great visit.
