first for both boys
cereal anyone?
I began Knox on some rice cereal last week. He's not getting it everyday, but it seemed like he was beginning to get hungry for something a little more. In a few weeks, when he turns 6 months old, I look forward to trying some fruits and veggies. Here's our first experience with our cereal.

Drew ended his gymnastics classes last week. He had a great time each week, and we're even though we'll be cutting back on some of our weekly activities (for Knox to get his naps in), we'll definitely be doing gymnastics again. Drew looked forward to it each time, and he loved his Coach. I hope next time we'll get a coach just as loving as Teresa was.

Santa Claus
We went and visited Santa with our play group this week. The other kids were a little hesitant to sit on his lap, so they wanted Drew to go first. He walked right up to Santa and got on his lap. The first picture they took was great and I bought it. When it was printed we saw my head was on the bottom. (that's not this picture. this is one i took). Anyway, everyone else had already started to we had to wait until they were finished in order to try again. We took 7-8 new pictures, and none of them were as good, so I took the one with my head in it. I'm sure we'll be able to laugh about it in the future. :)

Festival of Lights
I know that it's been a while since I have posted anything, so I thought instead of trying to catch up everything at once, I'll start with the most recent activities first. This past weekend we headed downtown for the annual Festival of Lights (Tallahassee's Christmas celebration). We just wanted to stay long enough for the lighting ceremony. They string tons of lights through all of the trees on the chain of parks (which a main area of downtown). I didn't get any pictures of the lights, (oops), so use your imagine. They were beautiful! (I think....I was just watching Drew's reaction to the lights, and then high-tailing it back to the car to get Knox home for bed). This first picture is when the lights came on...
Drew watching a band perform. Can you tell by Andy's face that he's missing his Gators play football? What a great husband! He missed the game to have some family time. He was recording it of course, and once I stepped into a place that had the game on the get a score update for him.

4 Months Old...
Hallelujah Harvest
Last Friday we headed to our church for Hallelujah Harvest. Drew was a fireman and Knox was a dalmation. (Andy was a daddy and I was a mommy) Anyway, it was a lot of fun. Drew really enjoyed all of the games and getting to see everyone dressed up. He was really excited to get to church on Sunday, and when we pulled into the parking lot, he asked where all of the games were. Then as a woman got out of her car (in a skirt and top), he asked what she was dressed up as. I answered, "A lady."

BLUE!!
The other day on the way home from gymnastics I gave Drew a blue stamp to play with. I told him not to get it on his seat, and he didn't! He just got it all over himself instead. The reason I gave him his stamp is because they usually get stamps at the end of class and instead got stickers. I reminded him he had a stamp in my bag that I would let him play with and he was really excited. Thank goodness it was (mostly) gone by the next day.
