I have been enjoying my week off of Whole30. Maybe a little too much!
The first day I finished, I still ate really well. I was afraid to mess up the hard work I put into this past month, but then the following day I decided I deserved a treat, and I have been enjoying "a treat" ever since.
I don't think I had realized how good I had felt on Whole30 until the gym this morning when I didn't have energy and felt kind of sick to my stomach. That probably had to do with eating almost an entire bag of Trader Joe's Kettle Corn before bed last night. :)
But, it did make me realize how much I enjoyed eating real, unprocessed, delicious food. So, I decided I would like to do another round of the Whole30, but this time, I'd love to have others join me! The accountability, encouragement, and sharing of recipes would make it a more exciting month.
As I began to think about this, I thought about another time I felt great this past year. It was when I took a month to read through the Psalms and Proverbs. (You read 5 Psalms a day and 1 Proverb). It really ignited a love of the Word and made me desire to read my Bible more often.
So, if you'd like to join me in that I would love to have you read along with me and share verses that inspire, challenge, and encourage you.
Don't feel like you have to join me for both of these. You can just choose to join me in one or the other, but if you want to do this together, I plan to begin on Monday, April 6th, which means our day30 will be May 6th.
Since I'm not on FB I can't create a group page there, but you can leave a comment below, or for those who have my email or cell you can contact me that way as well.
And most importantly of all, I am so excited heading into this weekend because
He is Risen!
