Day 31....Now what?

I made it!  I can hardly believe I was able to complete the Whole30 without any slip-ups.  Yesterday, I thought I'd be on cloud nine since it was the last day, but honestly it was torture knowing how close I was to being able to eat something off of the plan, but I still couldn't.  Last night when I was making my "last supper" :) I said something about it to Andy, hoping he would encourage me to go ahead and treat myself, but he told me "This is it!  You are almost there!"  So I got out some tuna and avacado and made this salad.

It was good, but not as good as a bag of pretzel m&m's would have been.  :)  Apparently, my cravings are not gone.

I am pleased that I was able to commit to something for 30 days and be disciplined enough to complete it.  I did feel a sense of accomplishment as I woke up this morning.

As of what's next?  I don't know.  I feel like I'll probably eat the same thing I have been for breakfast because I'm loving the eggs, sausage and veggies I've been enjoying.  I haven't figured out when I might have a treat.  (It may be as soon as I finish this post)  ;)

In other exciting Palmer news, Knox had his first baseball game last night, and did awesome!
That kid loves anything having to do with sports.

Getting a pep talk from daddy.

On base, after hitting a double!  WHOOHOO!!!!

And in even more exciting news, I came home from the gym this morning and saw that Andy and I were twins!  Too bad we couldn't have gone at the same time.  Wouldn't that have been cute? ;)

Today, at the gym I heard a song that ended with

"I want to be Heaven minded"

I'm praying that reminder penetrates my heart this week.  Especially as we are all preparing to celebrate His Resurrection.

Be blessed.
